We have an opportunity to serve folks who live at Elim Shores, an independent living/assisted living residence in our community. We're looking to build a team of both men and women, and both adults and kids, who would like to volunteer 1.5 hours on the third Sunday of the month, to put on a program at 12:30 pm. There are four types of programs being considered that would be well received at Elim Shores:
- Craft time/tea party
- Music concert/hymn sing
- Board games
- Special speaker--e.g. if you have a talent, hobby, or interest you'd be willing to share (We really need a pianist/accompanist; other musicians would be great as well!).
You could volunteer on a one time basis. However, ideally we're looking to build a team of people who could be there once a month.
