Give

Thank you for your desire to serve the Lord through your giving.

The Bible teaches that God has blessed each one of us in amazing ways. God’s desire is that we become like him, eager to bless others in his name.

Generosity is not meant to be a chore or an obligation. Rather, we are to give because we are grateful for his provisions and for the joy of giving back to God and giving him the glory.

Four Ways to Give

If you would like to make a donation to support the work of Prairie Hill Evangelical Free Church, there are several safe, secure, and convenient methods to offer tithes and financial contributions:

By Mail

Mail your donation to Prairie Hill Evangelical Free Church, 17200 Valley View Road, Eden Prairie, MN 55346. Please include your name and address on the check or envelope so that donation credit may be provided for tax purposes.

In Person

Simply place cash or checks in the collection box at the back of the sanctuary. Please include your name and address on the check or envelope so that donation credit may be provided for tax purposes. If paying by check, please designate Prairie Hill Evangelical Free Church as the payee.

Text-to-Give

Text an amount you want to give to 84321. Follow the prompts to set up your account. (Standard message/data rates may apply to each text donation.)

Online or ChurchCenter App

Online giving allows you to set up a specific dollar amount to be deducted one-time, or automatically reoccurring from a checking or savings account. Online giving is not only easy, but it's also safe and secure. This option helps individuals and families remain faithful in their giving if they are out of town or unable to attend church services.

FAQs

What happened to givingtools.com?

On September 12, 2021, we transitioned from GivingTools to PlanningCenter Giving.  PlanningCenter Giving provides the opportunity to give online, through our ChurchCenter app, and even spontaneously via text-to-give.

Please login to GivingTools (http://givingtools.com/login) to cancel any reoccurring giving, view and download past giving records to Prairie Hill through GivingTools, and/or to close your account.

Are there fees?

All EFT donations have a fee attached - EFTs from bank have a minimal charge, credit card payments have a % charge.  For more information, please visit this PCO Giving Support Page.

May I make non-cash donations?

Here are a few non-cash options to consider:

  • Stocks and mutual funds: The big advantage of stock donations is that you can receive a tax deduction for the fair market value of your securities at the time of the donation, and you will not pay capital gains tax on the difference between your cost and the fair market value. Contact your broker for a transfer authorization form, send a copy to your broker to authorize the transfer, and send a copy to the church letting us know how you want the funds applied. If you are looking for a recommendation, the Evangelical Free Church stock option is most convenient for all.  They sell the stock immediately and send the cash to us without fees or extra paperwork.  Specific info can be found  at https://www.efca.org/give.  Prairie Hill should be listed as the ministry designation.

Prairie Hill’s financial accountability?

The church is committed to honoring God’s provision by exercising wise and faithful stewardship. We employ ethical business practices and full accountability to ensure our financial integrity remains above reproach.

We accomplish this through a system of internal controls and budgeting and reporting processes. Our budget is approved annually by our church members.

How late in the year may I make a donation and still receive a credit for this year's taxes?

Per IRS regulations, contributions for each year must be received or postmarked by December 31 of that year in order to receive donation credit for that year's tax purposes. Please submit your online, mailed, or in-person donation accordingly.

I am praying that you will put into action the generosity that comes from your faith as you understand and experience all the good things we have in Christ. Philemon 1:6
