The Goldens are missionaries who serve in Budapest, Hungary with ReachGlobal, the foreign missions arm of the Evangelical Free Church.
They work with their church in north Buda, with Harold doing some of the preaching and mentoring the elders. Cindy helps teach Sunday school and serves on the worship team. Tuesdays and Thursdays they hold English Clubs and Bible chats as a means for outreach and discipleship.
Much of their ministry involves interacting with people and their families socially – having them over, attending family birthday parties and helping in any way they can. Several women asked Cindy to have a Bible study, and Harold encourages and coaches Pastor Pollak David and his wife as they work in a church across town. Both Harold and Cindy also supervise and mentor fellow teammates of the Budapest ministry team.
They work with like-minded Christian organizations at the Kelenföld Ministry Center. Harold and Cindy also partner with the Hungarian Evangelical Church to launch an arts outreach organization, Montázs.
Recently, with the war next door in Ukraine, they have become involved with ministering to refugees coming into Hungary. With such a variety of ministries, pray they have wisdom and direction from God to prioritize, move forward and focus on the activities and people He leads them to.
