The Deckers work with Chinese students and scholars. Their goal is to introduce them to the gospel through China Outreach Ministries at Portland State University and Oregon Health Science University. Duane and Jody build relationships through hospitality, practical service, and friendship, and then help foster faith development through Bible study and discipleship. The Deckers have a vision to send transformed Christian leaders back to China, prepared and committed to being ambassadors of the gospel of Jesus Christ to their own people and culture.
