Cristi Golas is the Pastor of Adunarea Speranta Vie (ASV) church in Pitesti, Romania.
Cristi and his wife, Cami have many outreach ministries through their church, in Pitesti, and the surrounding area. We have had a 30 year relationship with the Golases and continue to support their ministries through your support of the Missions budget of Prairie Hill. He is involved in several outreach programs in neighboring towns, both in Mioveni and Curtea de Arges city. (CDA) Cristi and his team are involved in Bible studies with the intent on building Christian community and ultimately establishing evangelical churches in these communities. In the past you have heard of his involvement with the Roma kids in the Razboieni and Koreni housing complexes in Pitesti. This work continues with an exciting addition of study lessons from a book written by "Georgiana" who God rescued from sex trafficking. The book titled, "Shout Your Dreams" tells of the exciting transformation in Georgiana when she gave her life to Christ. Because of their 10 year friendship Georgiana had Cristi divide the book into 16 lessons for small group study. Their focus is teenage Roma girls but they are also meeting their parents explaining in detail the way out of the sex trafficking nightmare. Please pray for the Bible studies in Mioveni and CDA as well as planned VBS, children's ministries, teen events, street evangelism in these communities. Pray also for connections with Reach Global and APEX ministries as they plan outreach events in eastern Europe later this summer.
