Welcome to Prairie Hill!
Some people talk about the church as a “building.” Rather, it is the gathering of individuals who trust Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Prairie Hill Evangelical Free Church is that kind of a church. We meet for biblical teaching, heartfelt worship, devoted friendships, prayer, and to care for those in need. We love Jesus and we love to worship together.
The term “Evangelical” means we believe in proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ. The term "Free" refers to our structure and organization. We are self-governing and autonomous, and we are free from hierarchical or state control.
All ages are here, from babies, to seniors, young adults, singles, and families. Most of our worshipers live in the southwest metro area; many others watch our services online. We aren’t a megachurch but what makes Prairie Hill unique is that we are large enough to offer many different programs and yet small enough to know one another personally.
Come as you are and if you arrive before the service begins, enjoy a cup of coffee with us in the Fellowship Hall before the service. Visitors tell us they are met with friendly smiles and warm conversation.
In Christ,
Prairie Hill Evangelical Free Church
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:24-25
