Sanctity of Life

by Sanctity of Life Committee on September 07, 2020

Together, as Christians, we seek to honor the Lord’s gift of life at all stages of development. While serving as compassionate advocates for life, the goal of the Sanctity of Life ministry is to respectfully defend, protect, and value human life from the preborn to the vulnerable elderly.  Our focus is on raising awareness and providing educational opportunities about the value of life.

In the past, we have offered an interim class teaching how to effectively defend one’s view about prolife in the public arena, participated in MCCL’s March for Life, walked in the Good Friday Prayer Vigil at Planned Parenthood in St. Paul, partnered with New Life Family Services in their June Walk for Life, and invited the congregation and general public to a showing of the motion picture, “Gosnell” in 2019.  We are committed to keeping pro-life issues a focus.

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. Psalm 139:13-16
